Dennis S. Pilon, LMSW, ACSW, BCD, LMFT, received his BA in Psychology from
Wayne State University and his Master of Social Work
(MSW) from the University of Michigan. Dennis is a Licensed Master Social Worker, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and has been in practice as a Clinical Social Worker for over 30 years. He is a psychotherapist and
clinical hypnotherapist specializing in
trauma-related disorders, smoking cessation/wellness
programs, and is trained in biofeedback and stress
management techniques. He is
owner/director of the Trauma Recovery
Center/Consultants in Royal Oak, Michigan, and the owner/director of
Anything But Cigarettes
comprehensive stop-smoking programs.
Mr. Pilon is a
Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Trauma
and Dissociation (ISSTD), and currently serves as the
Chair of the Professional Development Seminars Committee. He also
serves as the Clinical Coordinator for the Southeast
Michigan Trauma and Dissociation Study Group, an ISSTD
Component Group.
Mr. Pilon is Certified in Clinical Hypnosis and an Approved Consultant in Clinical Hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and is the Education Coordinator and Past President/President-Elect of the Michigan Society of Clinical Hypnosis. |

Kathy August,
Psy.D., conducts a psychological practice
specializing in the treatment of persons exposed to
abuse and trauma (e.g. sexual, physical and
emotional abuse, and combat exposure). She
consults, trains, and presents to professional and
community groups on trauma-related disorders. She is also trained in clinical hypnosis and EMDR to treat trauma.

Debbi Colohan, MA, LPC, received her Bachelor of
Science degree from Michigan State University and
her Masters in Counseling degree from Oakland
University. She specializes in the area of trauma
recovery with survivors who have endured sexual,
physical, and emotional abuse. Experience
includes over 15 years conducting individual, family and
group therapy in a safe and supportive environment.
Issues addressed in therapy include anxiety,
depression, dissociation, post traumatic stress
disorder, relationship dysfunction and low self
esteem. Goals of treatment include the
promotion of healing and self empowerment.

Lorraine Feber, MEd, ATR-BC, is a registered Art Therapist and
psychotherapist who works with children, adolescents
and adults (individually and in groups), and
utilizes art therapy techniques as a powerful method
to help accomplish various goals such as effective
coping, managing and transformation of traumatic
stress. Ms. Feber received her Master's Degree
from the Art Therapy program at Wayne State
University. She is affiliated with the
Michigan Art Therapy Association and the American
Art Therapy Association. Her areas of interest
include the treatment of eating disorders, other
addictions, and sexual abuse.

Loukia
Pelossof, LMSW, ACSW, BCD, LMFT,
is trained in family therapy and works with individuals, couples, families and groups. She has over 25 years experience treating trauma-related disorders with individual and groups. Leslie K. Pielack,
MA, LPC, has wide expertise in many aspects of
trauma treatment and assessment. She trains and
consults with therapists, medical professionals,
attorneys, educators, and organizations, regarding
trauma-related issues and participates in
specialized study groups as well as the Oakland
County Crisis Response Organization.

Karen Rouff, LMSW, ACSW, has been in clinical
practice for eighteen years. She works with
individuals, couples, and families, and has a wide
range of experience with children and adolescents as
well as adults. With a background in nursing, she
has a special interest and expertise with
health-related issues and concerns.

Carol Sabo-Horton, CMT, has over 15
years' experience as a massage therapist. She
is an Authorized Awareness Though Movement Teacher
of the Feldenkrais method, a Level II Reiki
practitioner, and is accredited by Associated
Bodywork and Massage Professionals. In
addition to her "hands on" body work, she is also a
qualified grief and loss counselor. Carol has
first-hand experience working with children,
adolescents and adults dealing with the impact of
trauma and loss. In addition, Ms. Sabo-Horton
has facilitated grief and loss support groups;
functioned as Assistant Facilitator for "Bamboo
Bridge", a Viet Nam Veteran's Support Group; and
assisted in the facilitation of multi-day trauma
workshops. Her sincere caring for the human
experience combined with her extensive training and
knowledge can help create a safe sanctuary for those
seeking her professional service.

Dorit Silver, LMSW, ACSW, BCD, LMFT, has over 25 years of
clinical experience, with specialized training in
the treatment of couples and families. She is
certified with the EMDR International Association,
and uses EMDR in
the treatment of trauma-related issues. Her
recent professional interests include the use of
EMDR in the resolution of personal and familial
transitions.

Larry Oshier MA is a Nationally Certified Psychologist (Michigan Limited License), with many years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. He uses short-term approaches with families, couples, and adolescents in crisis. He uses longer term psychodynamic treatment with childhood and adult trauma, anxiety, and depression. Larry has a special interest in working with couples on relationship issues and parenting skills.

Victoria Tylenda-Wong, LMSW, DCSW is a licensed Master’s Social Worker in the State of Michigan. She is dedicated to helping clients to achieve their fullest potential by eliminating barriers caused by past pain and suffering. Vicky’s post graduate training was with research based Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) serving a diverse population of families with at-risk youth and has worked for over a decade in areas related to Child Welfare. Other areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and grief/loss issues. Her work with Beaumont Hospice establishes the foundation of her expertise in grief and loss issues. Active professional memberships include the NASW, ACSW and North American Spirituality in Social Work. Vicky is a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and also uses Sensorimotor Psychotherapy in her treatment. Elizabeth Herring LMSW, ACSW is a Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She received her Master of Social Work in Interpersonal Practice with Children and Families from the University of Michigan. She specializes in the treatment of adolescents and families with trauma backgrounds. Ms. Herring believes strongly in empowering individuals to improve their overall functioning and satisfaction with their lives.
